Easy day trip from big river to Mount Matlock and with option to camp over night at woods point leaving Saturday morning and coming back Sunday afternoon. The trip is fairly easy (but not at all boring) which I have done it in my car when it was completely stock. If you only want to come for the day you can easily head back to Melbourne after Mount Matlock and if anyone is keen to camp overnight woods point that option is also available. Hopefully find a nice spot by the river where we can kick back around a fire. I reserve the right to pull the pin on the overnight camping option if there is torrential rain forecast for Saturday. If you are looking for a trip to bash your car around, this is not the trip for you. However If you are new to 4WDing and looking to go for a beautiful drive out in the bush, maybe see some snow (if we are lucky) and meet some new people, jump on.
