The trip is aiming to raise funds for the Central Gippsland Health Service Oncology (cancer treatment) Department redevelopment as part of the Maffra Mardi Gras. The trip will depart Licola information booth at 8AM on Saturday 28 February. The trip will take in Guy's, Howitt and Moroka Huts as well as Dimmick's Lookout. The route will then take us down Marathon Road into Briagolong and culminate at the Briagolong RSL Log Cabin by 5PM. This is an easy trip, but a vehicle with low range is required for one small stretch of Marathon Road towards the end of the day. Cost for the day is $25 per head, or $80 for a vehicle load (whichever is less. i.e. a vehicle with two people would cost $50). The price includes a sausage sizzle lunch with a soft drink, and a BBQ dinner at the RSL. Drinks available from the RSL at bar prices.
