Now that we can head back out, with restrictions, am going to drive one of my normal routes in Toolangi. Have rated this trip as medium as I wont be driving some of the harder tracks this time, but as we drive near them am happy for anyone to head up/down them if they wish.
Usual vehicle requirements; A/T tyres as a minimum, (I have mine on now), basic recovery gear, UHF radio, (in car or handheld) & whilst a winch is not mandatory, it would be handy to have. We will stop for a short lunchbreak somewhere during the day, so those who have their buddy ovens; bring them along. Day will be aprox 100 klms return from Yarra Glen, so ensure you have enough fuel Weather forecast is looking good, so it should be a good day.
PS: If any of you wish, rather than meet at Yarra Glen, feel free to meet at the start of Rocky Tk by 9.30am at the latest; just let me know if that is your preference. I will be in Yarra Glen by 8.30ish for my mandatory coffee & egg & bacon sandwich.
