Thinking of one last trip before the closure , looking at doing a few tough tracks that I have not had the chance to do as yet,will meet up at Licola General store at 9 am to tackle butcher country than down Zeka spur for a camp at Wonnangatta , day two head up Hearn spur over Cynthia range to talbotville than up billy goats and depending on time Caledonia river track and dingo hill last day I  am thinking Mount Margaret track



 



Best suited for experienced drivers with good setup sound vehicles



This is a see how we go trip no hurry no stress if the plans change all about having a good time with good people

Yes that was me, I would have made it had my turbo not shat itself, I bought 2 new turbo's of ebay so I wont have that problem again and I am sure that if I went with a group you could help me if need be?

Hey Tim, the vehicle info page on your profile says your Triton is stock with standard 29' tyres (i assume hwy tyres) etc, only mod being a UHF. Is that correct or just not updated?

Hey guys....i know where 6 wks away still but things are looking good already snow on hotham already and plenty of rain and more to come they say...seeing thou most of us are from the south eastern suburbs im happy to meet up friday morning at the longworry caltex servo at 6 am and meet the rest at licola at 9am

Hi Guys ....Looks like we should be in for a good trip with the amount of rain we have had and a touch of snow here and there,As most of us are from the South Eastern suburbs im happy to meet up at the Caltex servo outbound at Longwarry at 6am for a meet and greet and head off by 6:15am to meet up with the others at licola at 9am.Please let me know if your interested to do this so i know who to wait for etc. Fuel wise i will be filling up at Heyfield i dont imagine we will be doing much more than 500ks in the bush so best work out what you need,other than that looking forward to meeting you all and some off you again,Cheers

yeah mate thats the plan ,would you have a rough idea what time you may get there ? as being a long wk end im not sure where our camp will be in wonangatta could be busy but i generally camp not far from zeka spur so if you come in that way i would spot you easy and be able to get you on the radio

we can top up at heyfield for those who want to,im only guessing but i cant see the trip being more than say 400ks round trip back to heyfield again but who knows plans could changed, but if you want to by all means bring fuel
