Hey all just thinking/needing a weekend away sooner than later.
Thinking thompson state Forrest/Macalister river state Forrest.
meet on the Thompson dam wall at 9am saturday, head on trig track or Mabee futons creek track and then make our way to burgoines camping area to spend the night (mabee take army track,morning star track, green hills link and green hills track) there are even a few other campsites on the Macalister off green hills track which I wouldn't mind checking out time permitting. Then depends where we spend the night take burgoines track to Cheyenne bridge or take Cobb spur track which comes out just passed licola on heyfeild Jamison rd. All cars MUST have front and rear recovery points and bush camping Saturday night so have to be self sufficient (food/water).
