We will meet at the McDonalds carpark around 8:30AM. There is a gym next door that is empty so there is plenty of car park spots. People who want to grab something to eat or a coffee can do so. We will have a quick meeting about the trip at about 8:50AM and head off at 9:00AM. As there will likely be 15 vehicles plus the TJM Sunbury cars, we will aim to split into two groups of 8-10 vehicles.
We will enter via Carrolls Lane and the two groups will complete two loops. We will meet in the middle about 12:30 for lunch at Upper Chadwick Camp Ground. TJM Sunbury will be putting on a BBQ lunch. We will aim to head back out by 1-1:30 to complete the other loop for each group.
We will aim to meet back at the start of the track just off Carrolls Lane about 4-5:00PM and debrief.
This day is not intended to be a hardcore trip and is focused primarily on newer 4WDers who want to gain experience and confidence on things like hills, ruts, bog holes etc. If you have a moderate amount of experience, there will also be some fun tracks you can do if you want to push it a bit more. As always, there will be an easier track for those who want to build their confidence.
Tracks we aim to complete include, Distillery, Andersons Mill, XL, Firebreak 1, Ratcliff, Diggers and Amblers Lane. Should be a great day and look forward to seeing you out there.
