I was thinking early May 3/4 if I can the time off needed. If not it will be in November 5th.

not sure about how accurate the times are on google maps but a quick check of your original itinerary shows it totals about 16hrs. if those times are accurate you'll probably want at least 3 days.
or if you go from Mansfield to Craig's hut then Lovick's it's about 13hrs and you might only need two days.
at this stage I've already got plans for 3/4 may but could do the following weekend if that suits

is your preference to go up billy goat's or down? if you prefer going up then i believe you will need to start from dargo

I wouldn't advise up or down billy goats with anything less than a 32 inch tire unless your very experienced with picking lines.
I will keep an eye on dates
