Walhalla, Deep Creek Drive.
G'day. We will be meeting at Moe at 9:15am to leave by 9:30am heading to Rawson and in via Happy Jack Track and Coopers Creek to drive Deep Creek 1 and Deep Creek 4 Track. If we have time we will also drive Deep Creek 2 and Deep Creek 5 Track. Heading out at the end of the day via Fultons Creek Track. Depending on the time of day we may stop at Rawson Stockmans Hotel or Erica Hotel on the way home for a drink and or dinner if anyone wants to join us. Note: Current Rooftops Map has 2 warnings regarding Deep Creek tracks stating they are steep, slippery and dangerous and that people have died here. They have been graded since those warnings and we will be taking extreme care on the difficult sections but if you are not experienced or have an inclination to be stupid or not follow instruction please opt out of this trip. Clearance is generally not an issue but if you have smaller tyres then please have a working winch. Otherwise 33 or bigger muddies and recovery gear should do. We will be out most of the day so bring food, water and whatever else you may need. Number of vehicles has been limited for both time and safety reasons.
