Its the footy bye round, so if your team has made the finals (like mine) this is a good weekend to get away. Easy day trip from Big River to Mount Matlock leaving Saturday morning and coming back Saturday afternoon. The trip is fairly easy (but not at all boring) which I have done it in my car when it was completely stock. I reserve the right to pull the pin on the overnight camping option if there is torrential rain forecast for Saturday therefore it could just be a day trip only and this will be decided closer to the day.
If you are looking for a trip to bash your car around, this is not the trip for you. However If you are new to 4WDing and looking to go for a beautiful drive out in the bush, maybe see some snow (if we are lucky) and meet some new people, jump on.
