Flinders and Gammon Ranges EASY / MEDIUM

I am leaving Melbourne at 4 am on Sunday October 1. You are more than welcome to join me on the way up to Port Augusta. Meet and greet at 7 pm over dinner . Depart Port Augusta 7.30 am on the Monday. Trip will consist of camping and accomodation. SKYTREK 4x4 self drive tour will be undertaken on the Tuesday. Cost   $ 65  p/vehicle duration 6 hrs. Have enough fuel to cover 450 km,  Hawker to Arkaroola Village. Will need a Park Entry Pass to enter Flinders Ranges National Park. We can purchase at Wilpena Visitor Centre.  I carry a satellite phone for emergencies. Itinerary will be sent at a later date.

Gday Con, you mention camping and accommodation, what cost will the accommodation be and is there an option to camp as apposed to the accommodation.

Hi Simon, after leaving Port Augusta we can camp every night . Accomodation is an option . Personally I am swagging it . If interested I can send you itinerary. Con

I’m def interested, just checked out willow springs etc and looks like places on my bucket list. I have a rooftop tent after a run in with wildlife.
