Doing just a day trip to Mt Matlock and return via some lesser used tracks. One or two steep hills so rated easy if you have lockers, medium if you don't. If we're lucky might get some snow to boot.
Must have good aftermarket all terrain tyres as a minimum, preferably muddies, and preferably an inch or two of lift. There's a smallish river crossing that can have eroded banks and a rough rocky unstable base we'll have to assess on the day there are alternates if it's too chopped out.
Fuel for the day, BYO lunch and drinks as there's no shops once we leave Warburton. As much as anything this is a shakedown trip for my Hilux to see if anything falls off / breaks/ fails after an engine conversion so pace will be easy.
Must have own recovery gear and GPS. Look forward to seeing you there.
