Heading up this Wednesday  night camping along the way somewhere???? 

Stopping at hattah store for fuel etc around midday then west to border track.  Easy medium but could turn nasty if it rains although the weather looks ok .... Not sure of track condition ATM   Probably best to at least bring a snatch Stap just in case 

returning to Melb on Saturday/Sunday probably with an overnight stop.

Although 99% of it is sand it's very rough. Massive corrugations or mini undulations in the sand usually at opposing wheels. It's like being in a washing machine. Make sure everything is well packed and or tied down. Steer clear of the big bog holes, even the little ones are full of alternater chewing grit as with any sand driving 18 to 24 psi in the tyres. So apart from being rough it's an easy drive.
