We have three well setup 4wds going each with one or two male occupants. We are very experienced desert and sand drivers, having done the Simpson 4 times, the Canning and lots of other tracks. We will be exploring each day and don't have an exact plan as none of us have been to Murry Sunset NP or Big Desert so our plan is to just go and explore, camp out and have fun. We are all fast setup/packup travellers, so this is not a trip if you need a few hours to setup or packup. We either use swags or rooftop tents for quick setup. Our dates are set in concrete as work leave has been booked. We may have a forth and fifth car joining us for Just a four day weekend from Thu 14th to Sunday 17th May, leaving Melbourne after work on Wedensday 13th to get to Ouyen late that night to get straight into it on the Thursday 14th. If these extras come along then we will be planning our itinerary to link up with the long weekenders. So you may be interested in the whole trip or Just the long weekend component.
