My first planned trip on this forum, take it easy on me!! 

Planning on meeting at 11am at McKenzie Reserve carpark, Yarra Glen and will stop again at BP Station Mansfield (145 Mount Buller Road Mansfield) at 1pm for a second meeting point for those that might be coming from another part of Melbourne.

Please advise which meeting point you will be meeting us at:

Meeting point 1 - 11am McKenzie Reserve carpark Yarra Glen

Meeting point 2 - 1pm BP Station Mansfield (145 Mount Buller Road Mansfield)

There will be 3 families so far including myself that will be going to Pikes Flat Hut Camping Ground over the Australian Day long weekend. This trip will be ideal with individuals or people with family and kids. (My kids are 9,11 and 13 years old)

We have decided to go on Thursday as it might get busy so we want to get a good spot.

If you can't make it on the Thursday, feel free to join us on any of the days leading up to our departure date Monday 26th Jan. Camping spots will be on a first come first serve basis.

This trip would be easy going in terms of once we are at the campground, everyone is free to do a 4wd day trip, stay back at camp or simply follow someone else on a day drive. I am happy for someone to become trip leader on one of the day trip, otherwise I have a Hema GPS map and can also lead a trip etc....

This trip is for 8 families however I am not fuss if there is one or 2 more depending on the responds I get.... At this stage there are 3 including myself. If the trip is full, and you would like to come, just email me or sms/call me on 0408828000.

Pikes Flat Hut is off 16 Mile Jeep Track and is slightly further from Sheepyards Flat. I have found this campground to be less busy then Sheepyards. We will be camping near a river, the campground is  flat with grass.

The exact location of where we are staying is 37 degrees10.805's, 146 degrees30.746'E
