2 Day trip in the Walhalla Area, Will be doing the Infamous Burgoynes Track through the Macilister Gorge on Day 1, Then day 2 Will be going to check out Mt Selma and see if there is any snow about.

I will be heading up Thursday Morning to beat the main rush and secure a camp spot as I expect it to be quite busy in the main camping areas, I have attached a photo of the intended camping location, Which will basicly just be along Donelly Creek Rd pending on availability. Just did the west side of Burgoynes last weekend on my stock 1992 Hilux on 29's with no traction aids, no lift, road tyres, easy as it was graded recently.

Really?! That's a major bummer. It was only a matter of time. That whole section up to my Buller has been graded now. I'm going to have to find a new playground. :(

Hey guys,

Just keeping an eye on this trip. unfortunately can't Join but looking at doing a lot of the tracks listed next week.

we are a group of not very experienced drivers with fairly stock cars (all with A/T at least) for the most part with the exception of mine.

I've read everywhere that a lot of the tracks have been graded and should be fairly easy to do in stock cars with A/T if done carefully. Just curious a bout a couple of things, Mainly the river crossing at Burgoyne Tk (and the track itself) and also I know there's a few rivers crossings coming from Donnelys/Merrington Tk onto Walhalla Rd.

It'd be great if you could update on the level of those and see if we can get across with a Prado/FJ without snorkel.

Cheers
