I only just realized my trip description that took me ages to write didn't post; sorry for that. I'll just repost the message I posted earlier.

"Hi Jamie, probably up Dingo, Butcher, King Billy and Bluff tracks. Then back down through difficult Nobs Track area, Mt Sunday, Middle Ridge. Then Cobb Spur, Burgoyne, Fultons then below the Thompson Dam. The camps we end up at will depend on pace and choice."

The trip will be quite a bit longer in kms than suggested on the website because I didn't follow the track curves. Bring lots of fuel.

Im going to be at licola sat to monday, but im thinking if taking friday off and doing a day 4 wheel driving and then camp. I really want to do do king billy and dingo hill. If its ok and it works out id like to tag along on the friday

Hi Jamie, we're just camping Friday night and heading off saturday Morning. If you can't make it Friday, early Saturday is fine.

Also, it's great to see a couple of regulars coming along. 😁

I've checked for track closures and bushfires and all is fine for the moment. It's a total fire ban day (obviously). I also have a PLB if we need to use it.

I'm looking forward to floating in those rivers.

Hey Jason and other "Licola to Walhalla Via Mt Buller" travellers,

Where do I start. Fair dinkum, we were promised "floating down the river". Never happened. Never happened at all. I am still asking myself WHY I packed my bathers. I'm still suffering reoccurring nightmares from missing out. Very disappointed. Then at Lovicks Hut we had to endure watching our beloved "trip leader" create a breakfast of seasoned fried kale with smashed avocado and then he spat the dummie cause he forgot his balsamic vinegar for his steamed mushrooms. F*#k me !! I was gob smacked. Are you fair dinkum or what. Did I mention that we never saw the promised river and that I never got to have a swim.
And then (of course) his beloved (yuppie) Jeep decided to throw a rear shocker. 😢😢😢 And poor Jason had to go home.

Just in case people read this and were not there, I speak in jest with a fairly high level of sarcasm.

This was my first trip with 4WDtrip and I loved it. I will definitely sign up for more in the future.

Jason was a great leader and Phil was a great 2IC. Their knowledge and skill made for a memorable trip. Thanks to Phil and Ron for assisting in my near death experience (while Acker stood a watched and done nothing).

I look forward to catching up with everyone again (cause I had a great time)
