Going for an explore of some tracks I haven't driven yet, and testing the capabilities of my basically stock Patrol before the mods go in.

Depending on how things go we may do Strickland Spur. I'm only running 31s, so for me it would be very challenging.

Will try to squeeze in some filming too.

Will be a full day of driving, hopefully airing up around 4pm, so bring all your food and drink requirements.

Max convoy of 7 vehicles, - I have 2 other vehicles joining us.

Hi Winston, don't bother with Strickland spur, it was graded a couple of months back and all the fun is taken out of it except maybe 25m of rock section...

I was kinda hoping it might've been graded Matt. Between the big diffs of the Nissan and the tiny tyres it came with I'm a little short on clearance!

What size tires do you have? Its just makes it all about picking the right line with smaller tires, I have always run 32's and only have issues in deep ruts that the 35's have chewed out, even then half the time if you force the car into one side you will still make it through.

265/65/17 - 30.6". It's what it came with, and there's no point buying 33s as once the suspension goes in the 35s are sitting waiting.
