Walhalla over nighter MEDIUM / HARD

Hi all,
 
Looking at doing a trip in the Wallhalla area. If its wet it could be quite challenging for certain vehicles. These are some of the most chagelling tracks i've come across in the high country, that said a patrol makes them fairly easy. 
 
So minimum requirments for the trip will be some lift, decent tyres (not HT), winch and recovery kit. 
 
Ill be heading out friday night and camping at the start of fultons creek track so saturday isn't such a big drive, welcome to join.
Hope to make camp around 4-5 on Saturday, depends how the day goes though. Sunday will be open for discussion, probably get a half day of tracks in on the way out. I like a challenge but for a well set up rig with an experienced driver Im sure this will be fairly straight forward.

If a mate of mine is coming with me I won’t be leaving Melbourne until 8 but always good to just have the day for bush driving.

Unfortunately I have to withdraw from this trip.
I broke the shock mount in my 80 series on cup day up at Tallarook. I was hoping to have it fixed by the weekend but no such luck.

Hope you guys have a safe and fun trip.

Try to check out deep creek 1, i hear its good.

No worries mate.
Deep creek 1 has been graded not too long ago so I just a Sunday drive now. Did it labour day weekend this year
Was a bit of a let down as I’d heard the same as you.
There’s a good little climb on deep creek 4 but that’s it for those.
I have quite a lot of other good tracks planned a little further north. Shame so many have broken rigs

Hey mate.
Route for day one
Trig track, merringtons, bridle, Sullivan, Jorgensen, Donnelly’s creek round onto Eaton, then mt Selma track up to Selma, then fiddlers green onto ash and then spud spur to camp. Can camp at the bottom of mt Selma track if time was an issue but at this stage being two cars I reckon we’d be sweet.
That’s got some good tracks in there.

You still keen gaz?

Got a second day planned if you were keen. as well including Pluto link, toombon, toomstar, White star and flats leaving via either bridle or Sullivan’s.

Yeah mate I was going to say that camp spot. You know the area obviously.

As I previously said I’ll be getting to camp about 10ish for a beer or two before rolling out the swag!
