A weekend away from the royal wedding in Baw Baw national parkMeet up will be at
Caringal scout camp 9 km from Erica @ 66 Telbeit Road, Tyers Junction
This is a pay per person per night camping ground and will be our base camp for the Saturday night at $12.00 per head
This gives you great amenities with hot showers, toilets and fire pits and is a great place to spend the night, please bring a bag of fire wood
if you can or be prepared to lend a hand cutting some.
We will be there on the Friday night so feel free to arrive then and leave a comment and let me know your intentions
Heading out on the Saturday morning we will meet those that can't make the Friday night at the camp site and head off into the well known spots around
O'tooles and Merringtons having a look at a few of the local huts, from here I've been asked to include a Ladies leg of the journey so those blokes with partners
move over and hang on.. Army track is our intended Ladies run, which is relatively easy with a challenge at the top or a chicken track around if you prefer
This will be at the discretion of the individual drivers of course, just an opportunity not a requirement.
On Sunday I am Happy to discuss our days journey with the group as we have lots of options from the easy to
medium hard on low saddle track with a nice water crossing.
This trip imo will be medium, with water crossings and require knowledge of your vehicle and driver ability
we may have challenging sections that may be considered Hard by some if we have unanimous group consensus and choose to have a look.
Pin striping is probable as some of the tracks are overgrown.
This trip will be weather permitting.
