Easy trip from Big River to Woods Point and with option to camp overnight at woods point leaving Friday morning and coming back Saturday afternoon.  The trip is fairly easy (but not at all boring) which I have done many times now as it is such a good trip.  If you only want to come for the day you can easily head back to Melbourne after Mount Matlock and if anyone is keen to camp overnight in Woods Point that option is also available. Hopefully we can find a nice spot by the river (as its going to be busy) where we can kick back around a fire.

If you are looking for a trip to bash your car around, this is not the trip for you. However if you are new to 4WDriving and looking to drive through some beautiful bush and meet new people, jump on. 

 

Also if you have joined and then cannot make it for any reason please jump out of the trip as soon as possible to give someone else the opportunity to join.

Alex as most of us know mate you like to sleep in the open, I can lend you an extra blanket mate to stay the night. Be great to catch up for a beer. Well definitely staying the night now as I notice Gazza joined Eli's trip too. Looking forward to meeting Eli again

Yes I agree, Alex you should stay for the night and on the Saturday we can do some exploring. All in favour for Alex to camp the night say "I"

Would love to join you all but still in sling so driving one armed is not recommended apparently.

The Mrs says I can go solo and stay, so I’ll warm up my pies and shine the tyres, Gazza knows how I just hated getting dust on them last weekend at Licola. Be great to chug a beer with the homies👍

Good thing you are coming, as you will know other places to go if its to busy. I would be happy to camp up on the top Old Coach where we had lunch that time. Any way I am sure we will work something out.

Yeah theres a few little sneak spots we can try I dont care about river access as much as I do a peaceful night (no snoring Kev :-)) and the old hotel sight up on Old Coach is bound to be as quiet as a tomb if we can't get anything at Comet or Scotts or sneak spots. They tend to fill up pretty quick
