Hi Kevin,

Thanks for posting this trip. We are keen to go but can only make the Sunday. If anyone else wants to come and can do both days we are happy to withdraw.

Hi Kevin,

We are also beginners in 4wd. Have taken a full day course. We have a prado with no mods though. Do you think it will be suitable for the trip.

We have maxtrax and recovery gear.

Is the trip ok with family? We have a 4 months infant.

Thanks
Bill

Bill, prado are very good vehicle to have, I would put descent AT tyres on the car. as for families 4x4 is great fun. Just be aware when you are travelling in a convoy of cars there is a lot of dust and bouncing around, maybe a bit much on a 4 month old

Really looking forward to this. After losing my fairly well set up Discovery 1 in a car accident I have purchased a 2004 Discovery 2. It is stock and has never been off road. Looking forward to see what it can do straight out of the box.

Hi ya Guys, Kevin I'm a local, any chance of coming along? I have A decent oil leak, so will dip out on any water crossings. Oh just for day trips if that's Ok? If u are looking for a great camping place with tables & toilets, try Freeman's camping area. It's off Main Road just up past Landscape Rd.. If that's not suitable, follow Main Rd round till East falls Track (TL) that will take you to the Trawool Reservoir? You can catch me on 0408547028?
Cheers & Beers. No way a good glass of Red Sinned (Dennis)

Dennis, no disrespect mate but i would get a decent oil leak fixed before doing any trips. You have to keep an eye out on the sight in the future as I do a few trips into Tallarook.

What kind of AT would you recommend for a prado.

Thanks
Bill
