This will be an easy comfortable weekend away, leave your camping gear at home , I will be staying at the Dargo Motor Inn 03 51401314 and dinner will be at the pub.
We will enter the tracks out of Lindenow ( half way between Stratford and Bairnsdale ) and head north on Weir lane, Wattle creek rd. onto Tabberabbera rd. Gidley tk. Storer tk. Friday spur tk. Mt. Steve tk, we will cross the Wentworth river then plan to check out Orton tk, having been told it's to steep and to hard I feel we at least should have a look, we then continue on Mt. Steve tk, Gidley tk, Birregun rd, Stock route tk then onto Upper Dargo rd, if time permits we may venture further north then out to Upper Dargo rd and back down to Dargo.
I will leave Sunday open at the moment , we can disscuss over dinner , ideally I would like to be aired up and on my way home by about 3pm.
You will need lunch for Saturday and breakfast and lunch for Sunday.
Dargo has a general store with fuel.
I have not driven these tracks, so while we may come across some challenges , we will certainly have an adventure.
