THIS TRIP IS FOR 7 cars only. I have 1 car confirmed, not from this forum.

 

Eli and I are running a trip from Big river to woods point.

plan so far

Camp Friday at Stockmans reward campsite. I'll be going straight from work. I should arrive there by 7.30-8pm. I will post a sign at the campsite, something which is reflective and bright, so you don't miss it in the dark.

Awaken Saturday, pack up and head out to Woods Point. Got a route in mind, but it is TBC at this stage. Depending on time with how we have gone on Saturday, perhaps set up camp and go for an early evening drive to test out all our LED's 😁

Come back to camp, eat, drink and sleep like kings. If anyone is up for it, maybe a few tracks around the Kevington area on the way out. Again it's TBC track wise but I will update it as soon it it's set.

Also we know its difficult for people to get out there on Friday night after work etc, so happy for people to meet us early Saturday morning at the camp site to head off from there.

Omg the timing isn't great for me - as I have new park brakes shoes and rear wheel bearings that need to be "bedded in" as they went on the car last week . The plan was to do the front wheel bearings , linkages and brakes this weekend and then check my diff oil leaks :( followed by a wheel alignment .
If I can get a wheel alignment and diff oil fluid top up done by Friday 2pm then I may come if the park brakes settle.
Keep in mind that what we are planning is not at all an extreme trip with crazy tracks. Tracks we will be do is Snowy, Ely, Frenchmans, old coach.

Hey Tom, good to see the lux is back on the road, hope the missus didn't get too upset.
Eli, the front bar looks awesome, good to have the winch but I hope we don't need it haha.

Insurance came through with the goods. Would have been buggered if it didn't. She wasn't overly happy but after a few days and she cooled her jets 🙂

Hi All,
I have just bought a charcoal rotisserie and plan to break it in on Sat night. Could those that want to participate in the spit please let me know so I can bring enough meat. Plan is to cook pork and lamb mmmmmmmmm. I would like to see if one of you guys could provide some sides please.
