with all the rain we have had the clay based ones such as airplane and cockpit will be nothing but a winch fest

I was thinking the same thing. I don’t have any lockers and I don’t want to be a pain in the arse and have to winch every 10 meters.

Ray - We are doing hard tracks wither Rocky or Greasy (or both). I would not advise you join this drive. I also have not been to Toolangi for 12 months so unsure of the Track conditions.

Matthew the plan is to go down Blowhard this will give us an indication of Cockpit. If it is super slippery then we can make the call. Aeroplane is always fun (yes we will do some winching). We can also do Lyndalls, Luke Link and Not Much Help (so long as the big bog hole can be bypassed).
There are plenty of options we can make it up as we go.

Nigel- I was planing to see how others would go in rocky track, I know it is a difficult track in the dry and can cause damage if not paying attention. If the track was to difficult I did plan on bypassing so I didn’t hold up others but looking forward to the other climbs and muddy stuff.

Have seen a few vids posted in the last week and blow hard and cockpit were graded but are getting lots of traffic and returning to be fun tracks.

Blowhard and cockpit will be absolute mush with the rain on Friday night, anyone who knows Toolangi will know exactly how slippery it will be after all the rain we have had in the last few days and what is forecast for Friday night and Saturday. Personally I won't do either of those tracks in the conditions we will have , firstly I more care for my car than to smash it on tracks that wet, slippery and muddy and secondly so as a responsible 4wder I don't do unnecessary damage to the tracks which gives authorities more excesses to close the whole area.
After all it is irresponsible 4wders that give all the reasons to get places closed down and are then the first to sook and complain

Plenty of other tracks out there that are more rock based and stable in wet conditions
