Last 4wd trip of the year for me.

Rough outline, see which way the wind blows no concrete plans. I dont stick to time *(except meet up)* or schedules its all about flex :-)

Meet up at Warburton all fueled up and ready to go - 10 am and head towards stockmans reward up Snowy rd, Ely track shortcut 2 Frenchmans track, Monument track Corn hill track Pheasant creek track into Woods point. Drinkys and a fire and a comfortable nights rest.

Sunday, on the road by 10ish  - old coach rd,  German spur, Knockwood, moonlight spur track. Back into Woods point see how we go, finish 3-4 pm

This is for 4wd that are mechanicly sound (check car before you go not on the tracks) with own recovery gear, winch, lift and good off road tyres.

The pace will be at a comfortable and  we are all safe and happy at.

As I say no concrete plans, RESPECT of the tracks and bush is mandatory, You take your rubbish in you bring it out.

Corn hill track has some nasty bog holes at the southern end and had heaps of trees over it a few weeks ago, could have been cleared but I would check with the local ranger before heading up there.

You'll be fine Jase, you've done most of this- remember when your brake bolt needed a tweak, that's the Saturday route, Sunday is mostly up and down tracks but very little side-to-side stuff. RTT won't be a problem unless there'[s low hanging branches nothing 5 mins with a saw doesn't fix. Have fun you 'orrible lot !!!

Hi guys, all packed and ready to go. Looks like the rain has stopped so makes life easier, tracks will be wet and slippery, oh dear what a shame. Looking forward to meeting a couple of new people and catching up with a few others. Sorry Alex wish you were comeing guess I better remember my maps :-).
Ok beer o clock see you all in the morning remember leaveing at 10 so please fuel up etc before then. Cheeeers.

Just my opinion,, horses for courses, roof tents are good to stay out of the way of snakes, frogs, crocks and other sweet little things,in north Queensland and that, but it increases hight-and center of gravity, and of cause it makes you top heavy,i'm so happy with the tent i got 2 and a half min.after i unzipped it i can sleep in it. And its only 8kg.

Sorry for the late check in lads, first trip with 4wdtrips and I didn't know I had to check in.

All packed and ready to go tomorrow, look forward to meeting everyone and having some fun out on the tracks.

Thank EI did a grousse job of it, it was a top trip with good drunks----i mean with good people.
