For those not interested in watching the horses. I haven't been up to dissa before,  nor lead a trip before, so dont expect too much in the way of organisation.

 

I have a map and a rough idea. This will be a casual exploring day in search of some difficult / technical tracks. This means we may accidentially come accross something a bit too hard. Im not so interested in mud and bog holes but they may be unavoidable given the recent weather.

 

Expect drivers to drive to the abilities of their car, and their own abilities

Minimum 2 inch lift and 33's. Winch may come in handy but not essential.

Will finish up around 4 -  4:30 as most of us probably have work the next day.

I live 10 mins from dissa in wallan. Can we arrange a meeting spot somewhere up there aswell? Also i have fairly good knowledge of the area and the tracks if you need a hand finding the harder stuff.

Depends where you plan on going in. Most of the tracks i usually do are on the wandong side. But let me know where you plan on being and ill pick a spot to meet you.

Depends where you plan on going in. Most of the tracks i usually do are on the wandong side. But let me know where you plan on being and ill pick a spot to meet you.
Ok, well I think we'll head in from Mahadys rd and do clarkes rd first. so could meet you at the corner of Mahadys and wallan-whittlesea rd?

What happened to the engine?

Thanks for the time out!

The ml is fine. I've lubricated everything, fuel tank bracket was bent and hammered back into place, one of the steel rails was bent and no chance of bending it back but overall what an experience.
