Hi All,



After a fun day out at Lerderderg/Wombat state forest.

Have a fun route planned that is expected to come past some bog holes, potentially some dried up creek bed crossings and some rocky sections.

Mainly looking to have a look around and see what is out there.



Would prefer all cars to have winches and your own gear. I don't anticipate that we will get stuck in or on anything, but just in case.



Will be taking a small BBQ for lunch - will have some sausages and maybe a few chops, although you can bring your own lunch if you choose also.

Hi Ricky sound like a good day out was thinking of maybe joining your crew but not sure if my vehicle is set up seen everyone atleast has 33'' tires with lift kits. i have 30'' all terrain tires with standard lift. I also don,t have any recovery gear yet. the hilux still dose alright for standard just cant go to nuts as no lift. Do you think it would be worth taging along or wait till im more set up.

Hi Daniel,

I personally haven't driven the route that we will be undertaking yet so am unsure what to expect. Although I have been informed it has some bog holes that you can get around, but I don't want to guarantee one way or another.

I would suggest possibly not, although will let you know after.

Great to see your trip filled Ricky. After all the rain last night, think you might find a boghole or two so no doubt the 'mudlovers' will enjoy. Look forward to the trip report.

Hey team, I'm Ricky's other half - just a quick note to say as we are coming from the outer south east burbs and had some technical difficulties with the alarm clock this morning we will be running about 15 minutes late, will be on channel 26 though and you have Rick's number if you need anything!
