Join 4WD TRIP - Stathbogie ranges (Peloza79)

Stathbogie ranges MEDIUM / HARD

Never been to the area before and wanting to check it out. Done a little research and expect the tracks to be fairly mild but hoping to find some hard stuff so be prepared. For this reason winch, decent tyres with good tread and a full recovery kit is mandatory. No real plan, just go for an explore and see what we find. Will be camping the Friday night if anyone wants to come up early.

That would be much appreciated, from what I could find the mapped tracks are all pretty tamed it's what's not on the map that's interesting

there is a rooftop map made for the boho strathbogie area been going there for years best tracks mt separation mnt lindsay mt buggary long spur trks many more unnamed that become difficult in the wet golden mount and crystal clear are good good view from the top as well as mnt separation yts one humugus rock that you can drive up n down for the best trks the pines area at the bottom of mnt lindsay can be extreme hope this is of use to you have a good trip

My mate just sent me a bunch of photos of his rooftops map that has a heap of circled / highlighted tracks to checkout. Some of which aren't actually marked on the map it's self. We might have trouble finding the start of the tracks, some of them have secret entrances apparently. He thought about coming but he has other stuff on.
