We will be camping at Sheepyard Flat Friday night. You can camp too or meet there Saturday morning. The plan is to go from Sheepyard Flat to Bindaree falls, Monument track Craigs Hut, King Hut, Mt Cobbler and camp at Pineapple Flat Saturday night. Might do a track or two Sunday morning, see how we go but I want to be on my way home by 12/1 pm..I have done a few of these tracks before, they are easy.  I have been told that the tracks I haven't done are easy. The trip is for the less experienced 4wders. Will be mainly site seeing with a few hills and a shallow water crossing so if  you're after technically challenging tracks, rock crawling or big bog holes ect ect you will be bored. Kids welcome, bring your own food, water, beer/wine :) and camping gear.  Your 4wd must have low range, all terrain tyres & spare (no highway tyres). Rated recovery points, snach strap/recovery kit, tyre deflater and air compressor are also required.

Fill up at Mansfield I will do some research into Km's will we be covering i'd say a full tank or about 500 highway km's worth will be plenty.

    By the time we go I would like to think that the weather will be settled. Besides Melbourne has given us the bad 2 weeks so we should have 1 week nice by then. It's usually like that isn't it. 1 or 2 of nice weather if we are lucky and then vengeance with crap for another 1 or 2 weeks.

    I have roughly calculated the km's we'll be doing... from Sheepyard flat to sawmill settlement where we finish Sunday will be under 250km's plus 20 odd to and from Mansfield puts it around 300 being easy tracks and not using low range a lot depending how thirsty your 4be is I recon a full tank from Mansfeild and a jerry can if you have one should be sufficient.

    I have copied a map for everyone with a planed route we should be at Craigs hut for lunch and camp at pineapple flat Saturday night going via Jamison hut, Lovics hut Bindaree hut, Binaree falls, King hut, Mt Cobbler there are a few other points of interest we can check out if time permits.

    I replaced a wobbly left CV, still didn't fix the clunk, all the suspension looks great, got me stuffed. Booked it in for tomorrow, hopefully it's nothing too time consuming.
