Plan on doing deep creeks, trig and a few

more. Cars must have Decent off road tyres, min 50mm lift, front and rear rated recovery points, working winch, full size spare and FULL recovery kit. Will turn to a hard trip if raining or wet. Last fuel in moe. Wouldn't mind seeing some new faces or people I haven't seen in a while so please don't hold a grudge if I pull you from the trip

I've never been to Walhalla before & have heard interesting reports & just wondering if no lockers would be ok? Keen as if you think I'd go ok without them.

Good you can join. Personally I don't find it all to hard but everyone's different so just covering my arse. Still good tracks though, nice steep sections with a few nice rock steps

Hi Jase, great to see you joining this trip. Antony is an awesome trip leader and a High Country Nut! ..... he spent more time at high country than his own home....

Just a small advice, I would not recommend any rooftop tent when doing tracks at Walhalla area. I have seen a few close call rolling their truck. Keeping the low CG is the key. Most of the tracks are steeps and in some cases, like the Deep Creek 1, it has a rocky off camber section which can be very challenging if your truck is top heavy........ came across a rolled 79 Series dual cab last week when drove pass the exit of Deep Creek 1........
Otherwise, it's an awesome area 4wding..........

Thanks heaps kelvin, I was actually at Dargo over Aus Day weekend & spoke to the guys who were with him interestingly enough. Horrible outcome but glad himself & the kids were ok. I love the High Country myself so maybe Anthony & I are going to get along fine lol
I personally prefer tight technically drives myself which test my driving skills & knowledge. Many thanks for the helpful tips & can't wait to learn more.

All JB told me is that it was turned bad real fast & just went over. Rolled 60mtrs down the hill before coming to a stop.

Just came to my attention that the deep creek tracks will be freshly graded when we do the trip, Trig track is freshly graded. Up to you guys, want to play around walhalla/Aberfeldy or we can meet at the Thompson damn and finish in woods point on brewery track which I think is a better/harder plan. Will be a bit more main road driving but harder tracks in between, let me know

All good luke, always welcome. Also guys thinking that I might start the trip in woods point. Is everyone alright with this? Will finish at the dam wall. Seeing as everyone is from the south east will be an easier/quicker drive on the way home. also means that we can do brewery track first up :)
