George (Georgie_Kyro) Hi guys just a little bit of info for you in regards to this meet.
As antony said you travel down jamieson licola rd (dirt/gravel road and after a few kilometers you'll keep an eye out for a entrance that goes down into "Grannys flat".
This is generally a decent sized camp ground so perhaps the first person that knows they'll be there the earliest let the rest know what car you got so they spot ya.
Also, considering i have been going here for close to 15 years i have some pretty reasonable knowledge of this particular area.
If any of you are after a bit of night wheeling whilst there, there is a medium route which crosses the river and heads up towards mitchells and masters tracks towards the old slate mines.
If any of you are conplete friggen nutters (cough*** ANTONY cough**) you would know of the place i mentioned last time i saw you guys here on oz day weekend. I have dubbed it as "School Track".
This track isnt for the faint hearted.
You would want minimum 1 locker to do this and a winch and decent recovery gear.
For those of you that i have been out with before and know your cars and your driving style this is right up your alley.
I have done it predominantly during the night so considering i know your driving style and level of experience its safe to say you will enjoy it.
To enter shcool track.
Head back towards jamieson from grannys flat.
When you get back into town you will see jamieson primary school.
Turn right there on the corner where the school is and head down till you get near the end.
Just before it ends up private property there is an overgrown entrance to the left.
Go in about 50metres and thats where the fun starts...
Plenty of pics amd vids or it dodnt happen!
Safe driving!
