Just a fun day out bush I have been down this track before it's not to bad pretty easy but there are some big mud holes if some people want to try them, I haven't done much 4x4 driving in the wombat so if some knows some good tracks we can try them out after Anderson mill track. Should be a good day

Andersons can be very deceptive, if you pick the wrong line, well, some of the holes are deep. Its probably fairly dry out there atm but still be aware :). Like the ones out back of Firth park, theres a couple there that are door handle deep, on 37's..ha

It's not too bad out there atm, as long as it doesn't rian we will be sweet. I didn't try the big holes today as I only have 32s on but I was talking to someone that was out there today and he had 35s and he go stuck in 2 hole but them we had a hilux with road Tyers on and he mad it through the whole track with out being pulled out, there are a lot of chicken tracks too haha

Yes, Anderson mill track can be tricky and easily swallow a 4wd. I would highly recommend to take chicken tracks (they are still quite technical and fun to drive).

Deep bogholes (mud, water) can take a toll on a car in the long run. A lot of people who are new to 4wding may find them fun at first.

    Have fun guys.

If this track remains dry it is fairly simple. There are some large bog holes, some still very wet, but good guidance will get you around the tighter chicken tracks. There is one about half way along the you cannot avoid. If it rains this week it will be trouble, however at the moment it is mostly dry/damp and can be driven with care for the sides of your vehicle, watch nose on exit as it has a fairly high/sharp climb. I usually start at the Burnt Mill road end off Firth Road.

Check out the old Anderson saw mill sight. The saw dust has been there for something like 100 years I hear. Look for a cleared camp site near a small water storage pond and channel that used to run the water wheel. the channel runs for approx 1klm back to the creek to redirect the water when the mill was running.

Edit: Park web information, page 12 refers to the Anderson Saw Mill etc.
