Enjoy Walhalla again Winston, go there once and you will return time and time again. Not sure how many you have joining you, but expect O'Tooles to be busy busy, but same can be said about many campsites around the high country during the Xmas/New Year period. Have a great trip.

Hi guys - can't wait for this trip. We will set our uhf to channel 24 for the meet up at the helipad. Very easy to find, it's on the side of the only road into the township. If you have any problems just jump on the radio. Also just so you know I have to extra vehicles joining us for the journey that I had organised off this site.

Make sure you bring all the food, water and booze you need for the trip as the shops dont open in walhalla till 10am and I want to be well and truly in the forest by then.

Also I'm keeping an eye on weather conditions, looking like it should be ok over the next week but some of the creek crossings may be a little deepish. If we all have snorkels it won't be a problem but if anyone doesn't we may need to look at alternative tracks.

WITHDRAWN from Trip - Reason: Damage to one of my front wheel boots needs to be replaced. I am very disappointed I have even fitted a snorkel for this particular trip:(

thanks for the offer mate, but the daughter has booked in for next week at her mechanic friend bosses shop...I will be getting parts for them today I have a bearing wholesalers shop near me ......don't remind me I am missing great trips pissed me off 2. I fitted the snorkel in time for the trip with Winston. I didn't want to leave it to late to withdraw I hope someone on the interested list picks it up. with the weather reports Winston is putting up the crossings should be awesome. Winston my be changing the time because of the rain forecast, he says some of the crossings may be a bit dicey.

Changed date due to heavy rain forecast on boxing day. Tracks and river crossings may be dangerous immediately after heavy rain.

Planning Happy Jacks, Narrows, Beardmore, Fultons, Dry Gully, One Speck, Williamson Spur, Flats into O'Tooles to camp, day 2 Middle Star, White Star, Jorgensen, Toombon, Junction and finally Bridle.
