hi all I was thinking on head to mt matlock and maybe mt Selma for the day to see if going by all reports from what I have seen . SNOW .

Guys,
I can't come this weekend sadly, I had lunch at the fire tower last Sunday (came in via German Spur) and was lamenting the lack of snow.

Several mates have sent me pics this morning from around the ranges between there and Rubicon ...... snow, glorious snow!

Fingers crossed you will still have heaps up there. I love doing snow trips & usually run at least 1 per winter with the only downside being they have to be very 'short notice' trips, such as this one planned by Eddie. No point planning in advance as no gaurantee of snow.

Looking at forecast it seems as though you guys should still have a bit on Sunday even though it maybe a little 'mushy' by then as temps are supposed to rise in the next day or so with rain instead of snow. Lets hope they are wrong.

oh no worries mate, ....yes, the drop in temperature may easily affect respiratory system.....my sons are not well too.... get well soon.... I think we will have plenty of snow this Winter, let's organise another snow trip soon.

Yer thanks all . Well I'm still in the hospital , got some more Xrays done and I have a bad infection on my lungs . Other than that I'm doing ok. Thanks guys for the concern
