Going for an explore around Cobaw. Been there once quite some time ago and from what I remember and hear it's probably a good idea that all cars have some sort of traction aid (lockers/traction control), some ground clearance (minimum 2inch lift), off-road tyres (all terrains minimum), working winch with full recovery kit (shackles, damper, snatch, tree trunk protector, snatch block and winch extension strap) and front and rear rated recovery points.

That place is only small but riddled with decent tracks

I did Cobaw with no lift and no lockers with 4WD TV. There was only 1 track I didn't try because of no lockers or lift.

Will be meeting at lancefeild. From memory you turn left into the main street(heading from Melbourne). I will be going to the bakery in the morning so just meet around there. Thankfully Alex has joined the trip and knows the area so I'm sure he will show us some great tracks.

Really bad luck Wayne. I've got some good clips of alcorns track and all the struggles. Will post them up when I work out what to do

Alcorns has always worried me.
Will not attempt that and walking trak until i have reduction gears.
