Hi Everyone,



Looking at doing some exploring around Mt Matlock area hopefully there will be snow. Will post itinerary closer to the day. Won't do anything to extreme but your truck should be well setup with muddies. Bring the kids as we may stop for some tobboganing after lunch. Any track suggestion would be welcomed. Trip will be as we go as some tracks maybe closed or to hard.

Geez, this trip got the numbers up quick. Everybody loves to play in the snow! I'm glad I got in early. I've done Mt Disappointment a couple of times in the snow, lets just hope Mt Disappointment doesn't Disappoint us with snow coverage. its an awesome place for the kids to have some great snow play

have you got an idea on tracks and what not that you will be doing? i'd be happy to compare some notes and run a second trip in the same area going in the other direction and cross paths at some point for lunch?

Thinking more so being at mt Matlock before lunch then head to woods point for lunch then corn hill for some tobogganing. If you have any track ideas that would be great.

I think we'll have some snow by the looks of the weather, cross fingers.

We are leaving Warburton 8.30am sharp as we have a big day.
Bring a packed lunch and full tank of fuel.
Make sure you have all your recovery gear and rated recovery points.
Check the track listing and let me know if you have done any, if you have any suggestion also let me know.

Last weekend I did Pheasant, morning star, Frenchman gap and corn hill but started from corn hill. All was straight forward and quite tame. Was my first time in the area but didn't take long to do. Not sure about a big group but i reckon the settlement isn't out of reach time wise.
