Given the rain of the past week Ellis Track will most likely be a miss. We will have a look and make the call on the day.
There are still plenty of greasy tracks around Gentle Annie we we will still have a great day.

We are going to try out the epic Ellis Track and surrounds.
Depending on time we might head towards Poweltown and over to Gentle Annie

I am getting another 1" lift added to the rear so hopefully that helps.
I might also need to drop tyre pressure to 15psi to keep up with those muddies on your weapon

Did it recently on 33s skull dragged most of the way in the ruts was a good 9 hours to get to the top there's a massive down tree at the start so prepare to winch from the get go to get around it have fun 👌

First timer and after all the rain forecast next week, I hope your winch is very good :-).
Good technical track in the dry, major smash your car and winch in the wet

Great point Matthew. I thought about moving it to this Sunday, however 2 of the other guys were not able to change date. So looks like we we are on for 28th. Subject to how much rain we actually get next week.

I personally would wait until it actually rained, my phone said four days of rain and now down to three, difficult to remember it raining for 2 days in a row.
From speaking to others the worst thing at the moment is getting around the tree at the start if it’s wet.

Hi All - I have been planning some alternate tracks should we need them. The area around Gentle Annie is very challenging and will be an equally technical drive given the rain and slippery clay soils.

Driven Bullock Link once and it was great, but we took so long on it that didn't have time to do Robertson's too - should be a good day out

Wouldn't worry to much about Andersons, Bunyip has only just opened done a week and half ago and easy.
Tea tree was still shut.
Western need to be early as end up in traffic jam.
Gentle Annie need to go up or end up in washouts.
Robertsons at the beginning will sort the men from the boys and at the very end that turn into Fireline is slippery and good.
Bullock link go in from forest road.
Bullock and Robertsons shouldn't be busy as you need serious car in the wet.
We usually meet up at the Longwarry east bound servo as you are then only 20mins from the tracks.
