Here we go again ladies and gentleman boys and girls, sharpen your chainsaws and get ready 30+ tracks in 3 days.
We will be heading out over the Thomson dam to Friday nights camp on Fultons creek track .
Saturday we travel through Macalister River Gorge then on to Hickey track,Mt. Margaret track,Avon Rd, Ben Cruachan track Huggetts road and Kentucky road, we can air up here as we will be traveling on made roads to Dargo via Stratford, we should all top our tanks up here . We will camp on the Upper Dargo road.
Sunday some of the tracks we cover will be Murdering Spur,Messmate Spur, Matherson Spur, Dargo High Plains road, Grant road, Mc. Millan road, Bulltown Spur track Crooked River track with camping along Crooked River or at Talbotville Sunday night.
Monday we will head down Crooked River road cross Kingswell bridge then onto Billy Goats track then we will head out probably via Marathon road to Briagolong for lunch at the pub if time permits.
If we are running out of time along the way we can cut tracks out .
If it's dry this should be easy, if wet it will be fun, we will all get through no matter what the tracks throw at us.
All 4wd's must have recovery points front and rear and some extra clearance will be handy along with good quality all terrains.
I hope to be able to camp cook but unsure of fire restrictions.
Just so we are clear the meet up time is 6.30pm on Friday at the Erica pub.
Ok guys this map shows where we will camping on Fri night, it will be either of the two camp sites under the word Fultons I would say they are only about 200 meters apart.
Requirement
