Hi all, looking to organise another EOY gathering trip. The format would be similar to last year held at Tallarook. We will split to 2-3 groups (Easy/Medium, Hard) led by experienced trip leaders. Depending on the availabibilty of trip leaders, the group may combine.

    Is Saturday going to be the main driving day?

    Can't do Saturday unfortunately, I'd have to be home by 3pm which doesn't allow me enough time for a day on the tracks.

    I'm happy to lead a group on a medium/hard route. Will skip Alcorns and Madmans but everything else is fair game, weather dependent.

    Thurstain- I'll probably stick around and do some driving on the Sunday as well.

    Happy to trip lead if required. Easy/Medium. Likewise not going anywhere near Alcorns or Madmans. Happy to spectate though :) We will camp overnight.

    Hi Sean, the key drive day will be on Sat. We welcome any non 4wdtrip 4wders but we do suggest them to sign up so we can manage the logistic and head count... it only takes a few min to register

    Looking at the people attending, looks like a great bunch of people are coming. Even though I can't stay for the day drive on Saturday, I might come up for the camp Friday night to catch up with some of you guys, have a few beers, enjoy the camp fire and then Saturday go back home.

    I got a set of 33" you can borrow, but you'll have to come and pick it up, or will put it on here. With 32" you gonna look like a newly born giraffe.

    WITHDRAWN from Trip - Reason: Shattered, going to have to pull out at this stage. Unless someone has a harmonic ballancer installer that will work on a 5.7L Hemi, specifically a M14x1.5x230 bolt haha. Mine is still on the slow boat from china it seems. No where local stocks anything that will work. So yeah unless a miracle happens and the postman drops it off on Friday I won't be coming.

    If you want we could swap the tyres at the factory. Lift the front up with the fork swap tyres lift the back swap tyres. Have an air rattle gun. Do it Wed or Thurs evening.

    Will have to be after 12 noon. Have a regular grand kids morning every Friday.
    Was planning on leaving Chelsea Heights about 3 - 3.30. Maybe stopping at Lancefield Hotel for a feed then onto the camp site.

    Looking forward to seeing you all!. Just a friendly reminder to make sure your vehicle is checked and all the recovery gear is in good condition. Double check your winch is operational. Cobaw is a small state forest but still, you don't want to have any breakdown/problems in the middle of the track. Cobaw is a good 4wd location if this is your first time visiting there. It has a lot of technical track, which will test you and your vehicle. Safety is always #1 priority. If there is any recovery, please make sure it's carried out safely. There will be a lot of experienced 4wders, so do not hesitate to ask for assist. Few drinks at night will be expected but I do not tolerate any over-drink/drunk and causing any problems or inconvenience to others. Otherwise, have fun and enjoy the weekend. please be there by 8.30am on Sat. If you like to join us tonight, feel free to come.
