Big River relax and do 'not much' EASY

Big River State Forest, VIC

See more trips

I need ot get out of town thinking a spot of relaxing is a remedy.

Head out Friday night and camp near the top of BIg River turn off Friday night, then Saturday morning investigate all the spots on the left looking for anywhere that looks like 'this'll do' to set up camp and spend Saturday arvo either exploring, or, more likely, not much more than stare at the fire and chill out.

Roll out of the swag Sunday and have a very leisurely pack up, roll out of camp and head home Sunday morning :-)

We are busy on the Saturday night but will possibly join you Friday night and have a drive Saturday before heading home.
We are also away for a long weekend before that to go to Sydney to pick up our new caravan.
Will let you know how life pans out closer to the date

Thanks for invite Alex but will be a 'no show' as work is crazy atm; working most weekends. Hope you, Pauly and anyone else attending have a nice relaxing weekend.

Definitely going in the Hi-Deluxe. The 80 has no front end in it due to click-clack CV's which I should have replaced by, oh, about 2030 at the pace and enthusiasm I have for the job......

I was only planning on stopping at the grassy knoll near the top of the big river road. I don’t think there’s even a fire pit there
But if you’re going up friday in daylight hours how about grabbing the first nice spot on the big river road anywhere on the left. Just not stoclmans or Frenchmans the big spots, one of the little spots at the end of a track and we’ll find you over the radio

I am not going to be able to make it, just way to much going on and way to many things that need doing.
Not sure if any of you guys are on 4x4 Earth but we are having a small gathering at Skipworth in November. All are welcome so if interested jump on Earth and check out the vic trips section
