Looks Strickland Spur Track has been graded. I may now change the trip difficuites down to "Medium". I will try to find out the latest condition of the track.

 

Camping Friday at Anderson Mill Camping (https://goo.gl/maps/7jor2F2USHvwLedf6) in Marysville area, then starts with a fun technical track, Strictland Link Track, then loop back down to the start of Strickland Spur Track and up again. It will be a very technical track so your vehicle need to be well setup. Hopefully we can find some snow at the top of Strickland Spur Track. Depending on the time, we may head our way to big river and up Mt Matlock. 

 

I will try to get to the camp ground at 4ish on Friday.

Starts at 8.30am on Sat. 

Keeping the group small this time to move fast.

Strickland spur was graded not long ago and even the hardest rock section was a easy walk in the park, even with 32's

About 4 months ago , it was still easy, it was graded about 12 months ago, I did it just after it was graded and it was like a highway all the way

Drove Strickland spur today, two places with rock steps, Patrol on 35s drove the first rocky section with a bit of momentum no problem, 2nd rock steps Patrol on simexes needed to winch, was damp.

Thanks Phil, was the second rock step where there was a big tree root on the right?

Yes, the rocks are getting really exposed now, still only really the 2 sections that are getting good and the start with the clay hill is starting to get some ruts.
