Hi folks, i was hoping to take my uncle out 4wding to trial out his Jeep on some offroad tracks close to Melbourne (1 hour away would be prerferable on the SE side).

I use to head to Bunyip but know most tracks are closed until Melbourne Cup weekend - where could i go in the next couple of weeks with some decent (medium trails).

Does Toolangi have partly open tracks to going 4wding? (I know there is some tracks which are closed from their website, but suggests some may be open)

I don't have any knowledge of S/E tracks, perhaps put in trip ideas section "who wants to go s/e are day trip" It's always a good idea going with 3+ vehicles.
