Hello,

Went on a trip on the 17th April leaded by Tom down at Wombat State Forest.

Was a great start to the day with everyone meeting at the McDonalds in Gisborne, we headed out down Carols Lane and began our trip starting with Ratcliffe Track although got stuck by needing to help up 2 new Range Rovers/Land Rovers that were stuck trying to get up the track, with a quick snatch they were out although after a quick chat decided that the guys we had with us on road tyres would be unable to get up the other side.

James took over the reigns of directions for the trip as he has extensive knowledge of the area and knew where the fun tracks would be to give some of the less set up vehicles a great day with some small crossings and nice climbs.

All in all was a great day out, had a small issue where I had something stuck in my brakes/hub after going through a small boghole which decided to screech for the rest of the day until I cleaned out the wheel on the way home.
