Hey everyone!!

My name is Marc and I have just joined the forum after doing the proficiency course with 4WD Victoria a few weeks ago. I am keen to get on to a few beginners trips to get some more confidence in myself and the Patrol and of course have some fun!!

I'm in the process of getting basic recovery gear together (no winch at this point) and then I will be ready to head on out!

I guess I will see you out there.

Welcome to our obsession.

I am sure you will learn heaps and have a lot of fun.

I have done the advance driver training with 4WD Vic . They instructures were very good and knew their stuff.

Hope to see you out on the tracks

Hi Simon...... I thought the course was great. There were three instructors on the day (one called Simon so maybe I should watch what I say!!) who were all really good. One of the instructors was an older gent and he was a little over the top in the way he dealt with the other two.

His intentions were great but his delivery was appalling at times which made for a few awkward moments.

All in all it was a great day....I'm actually thinking of doing it again so my wife can learn.

welcome look forward to seeing you on the tracks sometime. We are also

new to this 4wd trip and have meet some great people, learnt lots and had

lots of fun. Achieving and stepping out of my comfort zone with the leadership

of experienced 4wd has added to my skill levels. This is a great club to belong

too. You will enjoy it.
