I've only been on one trip with 4wdtrip.com.au so as a beginner was wondering if anyone would wanna do a beginners snow trip. And if its even possible?

You guys mean 4wding in snow areas right? I havent done this either but am heading to the high country next weekend in search of some snow with another forum i am on. Sounds good. Does anybody know any tracks that are going to be open that will be covered in snow for us to check out etc?

This would be my first trip with 4wd trip - so maybe a good initiation. Having spent 10 years working in the snow - I've had a lot of time 4wding in the snow. But that was 20  plus years ago. Finding somewhere that's relatively flat is the ideal - as any incline in the snow quickly becomes advanced and tough - even with chains all round.

Hi,

I have seen videos and photos of vehicles driving through the snow at Mt Matlock through to Mt Terrible.

Great YOUTUBE Saz - but that last part is not really beginners. I'll pass if the trip will involve winching. 

But reckon the first part is perfect snow driving.
