Can my son sit at the front with booster seat?

Hi all,

My son has just turned 7. According to Vic road, he is allowed to sit at the front seat. However, I don't know if this is still the case if he requires a booster seat like this below:

I don't mind for him to sit at the front with his booster seat but I just want to make sure it's legal to do so.

Kelvin I am not 100% but I think children need to be over 25kilos and I think its different if there is an air bag,so maybe GQ ok but Pathy maybe not ?

If there's a back seat you have to use that first. If the back seat is full, or there is none, ute, he can go in the front seat in a suitable booster.
