hi guys we will be going out on saturday would to do a river crossing or two but dont know any close to frankston happy to drive 2hours away any suggestion would be great thanks

What river crossing are you planning to do on Sat?
Every river is different. The most important is to cross it at the right speed, ideally second low....make sure your windows are wide open during crossing....and no seat belt...in case you need to get out in emergency......

I've always found Beardmore track a reasonable river crossing - steep descent, but not too deep so a good one to play in.
Located at the base of Thompson Dam wall, so just make sure they aren't releasing water.
