Perhaps it is just me, but I have seen a few trips recently that are really short notice. Some of 2 days and less. Now for me personally I am a liitle out of the loop at times living in Shepparton. Nad some of these trips I would love to do, but come on guys a little bit more notice might be good. And I dare say you would be pleasantly surprised at how many people may attend.

Greg, understand what you are saying, but there are times when there is no option other than have a trip at short notice, especially in regard to snow trips. Also I think there are many who maybe sitting at home bored then decide, "why not go out for a 4wd trip this weekend'. Most get at least a few takers, so all good.

Personally, I find the trips that are planned so far in advance, (not including the big central Australia trips), fill up quickly, then over time more and more people drop out. I find that a months notice is generally the perfect time frame, especially for trips that involve overnight camping.
