Tallarook exploring MEDIUM / HARD

Tallarook state forest, VIC

See more trips
Exploring trip around Tallarook. I am organising this trip but I will not be acting as a trip leader. I have couple of maps and tracks I want to check out. If you want to tag along and explore with me, then join. If you are looking for someone to hold your hand or act as a trip leader, then this trip is not for you. I will be looking for medium tracks initially but also give a crack some harder ones... electric winch, rated recovery points, muddies 33inch+ and 2 inch lift+, all recovery gear required. Experienced drivers with 10+ trips through this website only allowed

Sounds like your wanting to do harder stuff than I am currently setup for. Experienced wheeler, lead many a 4wdtrip trip in my old Suzuki Sierra. Now building a Jeep Grand Cherokee, yes laugh all you want. Needed a bigger car to fit the kid into. And kinda got a soft spot for hemi's, family trait. Anyway I'm keen to tag along, if you will have me, will just turn around if it gets too tough.

We all have been there, where we start building the car, so nobody is going to laugh. You might be even more experienced than me who knows? I am not sure about Jeep though... I guess with right mods this can be a beast. It will rain tomorrow, so might get slippery on the tracks. You have mud tyres?? I classified this as medium to hard, but will stay on medium side...

32 muddies, 2 inch lift and 4mm bash plates that's about all I have done. No winch yet hence why I'd like to tag along. Will join the trip and get organised.

Your own recovery gear is a must, but I am sure you have it all. snatch strap, rated recovery points, shackles etc

I added the map in the photos area, the red path would be the tracks I want to go to. There are some blue sections marked. These would be checked out and walked prior before attempting
