The Trip will officially begin Thursday 28/3/19 from Goongerah Campground at 0930 Sharp, I will be leaving Melbourne on the 27th (Wednesday night) at Approx 4pm and heading straight to Goongerah for anyone that wants to convoy down with me.
Day 1 Thursday 28th
Depart Goongerah Camp onto Mt Jersey Road, Yalmy Road then start the Deddick Trail, Stopping at the Mt Joan Helipad for Lunch then pushing onto McKillops Bridge & and McKillops Bridge camp ground Total 80.100kms
Day 2 Friday 29th
Depart McKillops Bridge Campground onto McKillops Bridge Road, Rocky Range Track to check out the Views from the Helipad, Ubolt on Rocky Range onto Milky Creek Track, Check out Little River Falls, Back onto McKillops Bridge Road, Snowy River Road through Suggan Buggan, Ingeegoodbee Track over Mt Menaak before finding somewhere to camp along MacFarlane Flat, Campground T.B.T Total 90kms Approx
Day 3 Saturday 30th
Depart Campground T.B.T On MacFarlane Flat, Onto the Cobberas Trail, (Time Permitting Check out the Rams Horn Views Via Rams Horn Track) Limestone Road, Limestone Creek Track, Then Camping at Limestone Creek, I have reduced the amount of driving today to allow to make up any lost time over the first 2 days if we dont hit the planned areas. Total 36kms and 48kms If We do Rams Horn
Day 4 Sunday 31st
Depart Limestone Creek Campground, Onto Limestone Road, Misery Trail upto Mt Pendergast, Limestone Benembra Road into Benembra Township to check out the Local Heritage Before Completeing the Trip around 2pm and Heading back to Melbourne. Total 54kms
Depending on how the trip plays out there maybe oppitunity to check out some more tracks providing there isn't too many recovery situations so plan to Bring enough Food, Water and Fuel for 4 days and 450kms of Bush Driving in low range as the last fuel stop will be at Orbost and no Fuel untill Benembra or Omeo.
Fire activity in the area will be checked prior to the trip and adjustments will be made accordanly if any Watch and Act or Advice warnings from the CFA are in place and monitered throughout the trip.
